Planning Analyst - Cork.
This role will suit a candidate with strong planning / forecasting background from a fast-moving environment. This role will allow the candidate, who demonstrates a strong understanding of the order cycle & execution process as well as a demand forecasting capability, to further their career and personal development in a customer facing & very visible environment.
Primary responsibilities:
1.Develop collaborative agreed run-rate/demand plan with Channel partners by analysing partner demand forecasts, sales data & inventory data weekly to derive a clear demand statement to ensure appropriate stocking level.
2.Collaborate with supply planning teams to determine supply by account and negotiate for best outcome.
3. In product constraint situations manage partner expectations in regards to supply and work with all stake-holders to define and execute optimal product allocation plan to balance supply across accounts and maximize revenue opportunity.
4.Manage the order book so that forecast becomes firm demand and manage the daily and weekly execution process to ensure agreed run rate is met.
5.Review historical forecasts and compare to actual demand to measure forecast accuracy. Pro-actively investigate solutions to improve accuracy in future demand plans
6.Hold regular weekly Business Operations calls and Quarterly Account Reviews with each Partner to reach consensus demand view & ensure compliance to service level agreements and terms and conditions
7.Ensure thorough understanding of Legal, VAT & Tax Compliance requirements within region and Channel Contractual requirements and ensure adherence to same.
8. Identify account process improvement opportunities and overall supply chain improvements and drive towards successful outcomes
9. Put in place KPI to manage service to the account and publish weekly to key stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience Required:
1.Bachelor degree in Business, a Life Science or Engineering, Maths or Physical Science and or relevant qualification
2.Three plus years in a similar supply chain, demand/supply planning or sales operations role
4.Advanced Excel
5.Knowledge and experience of SAP an advantage
