Hartley People are currently recruiting for a SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST for a large mulit-national Company in Wexford.

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for delivering optimum supplier performance to the business by:-

  • Ensuring an agile, flexible supply base through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Optimisation of competitive materials costs
  • Supply chain project management
  • Product life cycle execution
  • Supply/supplier risk mitigation
  • Efficient tactical operational execution


Experience

  • Ideally a business or equivalent Degree. IPICS/ IIPMM certification an advantage
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in a supply chain role
  • Experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environment
  • Implementation and maintenance of best in class standards in supplier management, procurement & project management
  • Previous experience of working in an ISO9001: 2008 or ISO13485: 2003 environment
  • Advanced SAP & Microsoft Office experience
  • Good business acumen and self drive
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing & negotiation skills
  • The individual must demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound judgment and be self driven with the capacity to work on their own initiative
  • They must be results focused and demonstrate financial & analytical acumen
  • Problem solving / resolution along with strong commitment, passion and flexibility are also key skills
