Job Description
Job title: PGi Event Services Development Manager, EMEA
Based: Clonakilty, West Cork, Ireland
Reporting to: Customer Services Manager EMEA, India
Position Profile
Based in our Clonakilty office, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of new business processes and initiatives to drive business and commercial growth. A dedicated team will have direct line report to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Lead initiatives to drive commercial growth and ensure business retention
§ Interacts across all PGi functions to coordinate new business initiatives, as required.
§ Leading & engaging in a variety of projects to drive process improvement, implementation of new work procedures and practices, rollout of new products.
§ Develop proactive initiatives to drive service quality improvement and provide a regular temperature gauge of client satisfaction levels
§ Understand and apply project management techniques, standards and guidelines.
§ Work closely with a dedicated team to create and maintain a high quality work environment to motivate associates to perform at their highest level through proactive management and support
§ Providing appropriate feedback to team members on their accomplishments and performance; developing team and individual goals and objectives
§ Communicate with the team on a regular basis to ensure service level agreements (SLA) are met and quality and adherence to specifications and timeline.
§ Act as CS representative on inter departmental initiatives and provide active participation in meetings.
§ Ensure that both our internal and external clients receive an excellent level of service and support in an efficient, knowledgeable, and timely manner. Work with our partners to refine workflow processes, drive improvements.
§ Act as a sponsor to a number of key clients and engage in regular communication, on site meetings and reviews of service delivery to ensure we are delivering a white glove level of service.
§ Build successful relationships with colleagues and counterparts in order to deliver the best experience to external vendors and partners.
§ Provides an advisory role to the customer in terms of suggesting the simplest & most effective PGi solution to meet their requirements.
§ Provides regular status updates/flags risks to senior management team & other stakeholders as required.
§ Performs ad hoc analysis for ‘go /no go’ decisions on projects/new initiatives.
§ Ensure adequate issue escalation in those instances where there is a significant business impact
§ Prepare and maintain accurate dashboards and reporting
§ Performs other job-related duties as required.
Candidate Profile:
§ Degree level or equivalent in a business or related discipline.
§ Previous supervisory/leadership experience
§ Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet challenging and tight deadlines is essential.
§ Strongly customer focused
§ Strong business and commercial acumen
§ Ability to interact effectively and with confidence with senior management.
§ Self-starter. Must be able to work proactively, independently and with little direction.
§ Strong team player - promotes teamwork and provides support at all levels.
§ Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.
§ Ability to succinctly define problems and create solutions effectively and efficiently.
§ Excellent organizational, decision-making, problem solving and negotiation skills.

§ Ability to work under pressure and deal positively with difficult situations is essential.

§ Computer literate – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Internet and Email. Microsoft Access desirable but not essential.
§ Fluency in a second European language (preferably French or German) is desirable but not essential.
§ Ability to travel as required for business purposes.
