Based in Cork and reporting to the IT Director this person will be primarily responsible for developing / auditing compliance policies, procedures and best practices in numerous sites throughout the European region. They will work closely with the IT departments in each site and be responsible for co-ordinating all IT SOX activities and risk assessments. They will also work closely with the corporate SOX team. Some travel will be required.
THE ROLE:
* knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley requirements
* Experience in auditing or compliance
* IT background with good overall understanding of IT processes and infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS:
* Relevant degree or equivalent.
* Some SOX experience with at least 2-4 years of technical IT or audit background.
* Further training will be provided as required.
* Knowlegdge of SOX, ITIL or Cobit requirements
