The Moulding Engineer Technical Manager will lead a team of engineers on moulding projects (tooling design, process development, and product transfer to manufacturing). This position reports to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    Make technical designs and plan projects for new mold tools and processes.
  • Lead engineers to deliver projects on agreed project milestones.
  • Partner with Marketing and Business Development teams, customers, suppliers, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams as required.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget according to business requirements.
  • Coordinate and analyze metrology measurements during product development phases.
  • Make decisions on mould design and steel adjustments to meet tight tolerances.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and GMP requirements, and adherence to all client policies and relevant legislation.
Requirements

    Third level qualification to degree level in Engineering.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of moulding, extrusion and/or polymer processes and technologies.
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills; statistics knowledge/experience would be advantageous.
  • Previous project/process management, product technology transfer/NPI and validation experience is desirable.
  • Results driven with proven ability to prioritize work.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Good working knowledge of quality systems is helpful.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.
